British rock legends Uriah Heep, returned to the US to do a handful of dates, including one here in the Minneapolis suburb of Medina. The 1500+ near-capacity crowd gave the Heep an enthusiastic welcome and the Heep returned the favor by delivering a nearly 2 hour set filled with new material and the best of their classics from the 70's. Here is a portion of "July Morning"... All vids were shot with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 digital camera which shoots amazing HD video with a great optical zoom. I was far from the stage in all vids, but it looks like the front row! I hope you enjoy these videos as much as I did shooting them.... Uriah Heep was one of the great under-rated bands of the 70's - enjoying a brief period of success before the death of frontman David Byron and a pair of weak albums, did them in. But they regrouped with frontman Bernie Shaw and for 20+ years have been quietly putting on amazing shows as well as recording the strongest new material since Demons and Wizards...enjoy the amazing URIAH HEEP..."live" at The Medina Center on 11/5/2010!
